Code Of Conduct
The COMMUNICATION Rule
Students will speak quietly and politely inside our school buildings and refrain from using offensive language around the school. Students are to use mobile phones & iPods according to the College's mobile phone & iPod policies.The LEARNING Rule
Students will attend our school regularly and be involved in a range of activities aimed at extending their skills and knowledge. It is expected that both staff and students will contribute to creating a positive learning environment.
The MOVEMENT Rule
Students will move in and around our school in an orderly manner being mindful of the rights of others and the care of grounds, buildings, equipment and furnishings.The TREATMENT Rule
At our school, staff and students will respect safety, personal property and the rights of others by word and action. This means: NO bad language, put downs, sexism or racism, for example.The CONFLICT Rule
Students will settle conflict by talking it over (they negotiate) and getting other persons to suggest how to settle the dispute (they mediate). Conflicts will not be settled by verbal or physical abuse.The DRESS Rule
In the interest of fostering school spirit and a sense of belonging and equality, Junior and Middle School students will be expected to wear our school uniform, whereas VCE students will be expected to adhere to the dress code.The HEALTH & SAFETY Rule
We all like to work in a safe and healthy environment, and therefore the use or supply of dangerous items or any drugs (including alcohol and tobacco) is not permitted at our school or any school function.
