Attendence policy
If your son/daughter is going to be absent or late for any reason a Parent/Guardian must let the College know by calling on 5825 1498. This is a 24 hour phone number with an answering machine.
Students will be expected to attend every day or have a valid reason for non-attendance, such as illness. Every effort should be made to make appointments (Dentist, Doctor, driving lesson, etc.) outside of school hours.
Year 7 - 10 Policy
If a student is absent for more than FIVE DAYS PER SEMESTER a formal interview with a parent must take place. More than 10 days absence may put a student at risk of failing the semester.VCE Policy
If a student is absent for more than FIVE DAYS PER SEMESTER he/she may be suspended from class until a parent interview takes place with a Year Level Coordinator or Principal.Exceptions that do not count towards the 5 days:
- Absences with a medical certificate
- Part day absence approved by the Sick Bay Coordinator
- Suspension
- Excursions/Camps
- Extended Leave approved by the Principal
- Absences approved by Year Level Coordinators after parental contact.
