5 teachers from Mooroopna Secondary College have just completed 12 months study with an international group of schools from United States, New Zealand and Australia. This Powerful Learning Practice offered us a unique opportunity to participate in a long-term, job-embedded professional development program that immersed us in 21st Century learning environments. This PLP model is currently enabling hundreds of educators around the country to experience the transformative potential of social Web tools to build global learning communities and re-envision their own personal learning practice. The Mooroopna team consisted of Kirsten Gass, Katie Bradley, Deanne Saunders, Adrian Camm and Leonie Dyason. Our team presentation video – collaboratively created and then produced by Kirsten – is linked here, along with the wiki pages our Web 2.0 products are showcased on.
